What is my minimum order?
The minimum opening order is only $200.00. You may mix Fur Children® printed items with Hand Painted Ceramics, but ceramics take longer to produce and will delay your delivery accordingly. You may wish to consider splitting mixed shipments.
There is no minimum reorder. However, orders under $150.00 are subject to a handling charge of $2.50 plus actual UPS charges. (FYI: Shipping for a single $5.25 pack of cards will be $2.50 plus actual UPS charges which range from $4-$9 depending on the address.)
What terms may I expect?
As our products are made to order, all orders are paid for upon shipment. We accept company checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We will ship C.O.D. upon approval. (You are responsible for the UPS COD fee in addition to shipping and handling if your order is less than $200.00)
How is my order shipped?
All merchandise is shipped FOB Pearisburg, VA by UPS ground. (Customers requesting “Rush Orders” are responsible for air shipping charges.) There is a handling charge of $2.50 plus the actual shipping charges for orders under $150.00. (If we use your UPS number only the $2.50 handling charge will apply)
What about the Spinner Displays?
Spinner Displays are shipped FOB Pearl River, NY directly from the manufacturer. They may not arrive exactly at the same time as your merchandise. If your order includes a FREE spinner (part of our spinner packages), it will still be assessed shipping charges.
Will you Drop Ship directly to my customers?
If you are a Stocking Dealer, Zeppa Studios can drop ship wholesale orders directly to your clients in the Continental United States ONLY with street addresses-NO P.O. BOXES. The $2.50 handling charge applies plus actual shipping charges. If we use your shipper number/third party billing, then only the $2.50 handling charge applies. Gift cards are available at no charge.
*A Stocking Dealer is an on-line shop, catalog and/or physical store, who has placed an opening order with us and makes repeat orders periodically as needed. We do not allow on-line vendors, catalogs or stores to simply sell from our photos/catalog without placing an opening order or otherwise making a financial commitment to our products.
Can I see samples before I order?
Since we do not attend trade shows, first time buyers may order ONE TIME ONLY samples of any items of interest without worrying about the minimum opening dollar amount. You will NOT be considered an existing account/ stocking dealer until a minimum opening order is placed. Sample orders are not returnable, but are also not subject to the handling charge. The sample order dollar amount may be deducted from the $200.00 minimum if the balance of the opening order is placed within a month after the sample order ships.
How soon will I receive my order?
ALL Zeppa products are made to order in our Virginia Studios. We ship Fur Children® printed items like cards and coasters with in 3-5 business days of receipt of order. Other Fur Children® items (especially customized or personalized items) may longer to be made ready to ship. Hand Painted Ceramic items require 2-4 weeks to be ready to ship...longer during 4th quarter. We recommend you place ceramic orders separately from printed goods, especially if the printed goods are for stock and the ceramics are special orders.
What about custom painted Ceramics?
Custom ceramic work can take 6-8 weeks to complete depending on volume. Ceramic orders placed after October 25th, while usually shipped in time, are not guaranteed for Holiday delivery. Please place all Holiday and/or large orders early. If you must have an item by a certain date, that date must be approved by our offices and noted on your purchase order.
Do you backorder?
Zeppa Studios assumes back orders are acceptable unless otherwise noted on your purchase order. If we are responsible for the back order because of blank items being out of stock or an error, handling charges are not assessed.
What if I receive damaged goods?
Any claims for defective or damaged merchandise, shortages, or other errors must be made 5 business days after receipt of merchandise. (Without your written PO, errors are the responsibility of the buyer!) Upon request for approved claims, a UPS return tag can be issued. Credits are issued for merchandise purchases only. Refunds are not permitted.
What if my customer doesn't like a special order?
Custom work and special orders cannot be returned for any reason other than damage/defect and only for replacement of the damaged item. Remember, any errors in spelling or other customizing without your written P.O. are your responsibility.
Because we make items (even the printed ones) per your order, if you make an error on your written PO (custom or otherwise)...order 20 Aussie Terriers instead of 20 Aussie Shepherds...we reserve the right not to accept an exchange, period. If we do accept it, all shipping and handling will be at your expense.
No exchanges, returns, etc. will be accepted for items in your possession for over 45 days. No exchanges, returns, etc. will be accepted without approval by our offices. Any returns we do approve (other than damage/defect/our error) will be at your expense and for merchandise credit only. Items returned in unsatisfactory condition (price stickers, etc) will be credited at half of wholesale.
What if I want to cancel an order?
We repeat, Zeppa products are made to order...most aren’t in inventory as finished goods until you order them. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to ship date. Ceramic orders must be cancelled 21 days prior to ship date. Untimely cancellations and refused orders will be invoiced for 15% of the order plus freight.
How long are your prices usually good for?
Prices posted in the catalog are good for the calendar year noted on that catalog. All price lists from previous years are null and void January 1 of the current year. Items in our wholesale catalog are available for that calendar year. Again, all catalogs prior to the current calandar year are void and may contain discontinued items. We post the next calendar year's price list in October a few months ahead of when the actual changes go into effect. This allows everyone a few months to adjust.
Print catalogs are included with your first order of the year. You are encouraged to visit our web site to check for product updates. We also send updates by e-mail, so please be sure we have a suitable one on file for you.
